Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon, cut up
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. white rice
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms (undrained)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Fry bacon in large skillet.
    When bacon is half done, add onion, pepper and garlic; brown together.
    Add rice, mushrooms, broth and water.
    Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
    Add more water if needed.
    Cook 20 to 30 minutes, until rice is done.
