Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter or shortening
Preparation
    Beat egg in a large bowl.
    Add sugar, then alternately add milk and flour sifted with baking powder.
    Mix well.
    Add pecans. Pour in greased pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Bake 1 hour in slow oven.
