Creole Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) or 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. finely chopped cucumber
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add tomato juice.
Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
Stir in onion, green pepper, celery and cucumber and chill until firm.
Serve on lettuce and garnish with sliced boiled eggs, if desired.
