Jumbo Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. margarine (2 1/2 sticks)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt
3 c. oats, uncooked
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Heat oven to
375\u00b0.
Beat
margarine
and
sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat
in
egg\tand vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda and
salt;
add to margarine mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips (and optional nuts).
