Elsie'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    1 (14 oz.) low-fat sweetened condensed milk
    4 egg whites
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt or 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spices
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, combine all except first ingredient (the pie shell).
    Mix well. Pour into pie shell.
    Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
    Garnish with dollops of Cool Whip or real whipped cream. Eat and enjoy.
    Refrigerate leftovers.
