Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    3 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. diced firm apples
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Mix sugar and oil.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
    Add to oil mixture and stir in vanilla, apples, coconut and nuts.
    Spoon into oiled pound cake
    pan or oblong pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 80 to 90 minutes.
