Italian Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
1 1/3 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
Preparation

Mix Crisco, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Sift flour and baking powder together.
Add this, alternating with flour and milk to well creamed mixture.
Add eggs, 2 at a time, and beat well after each one.
Mixture should be very creamy.
Put 1/2 cup cocoa and 2 cups of batter into small mixing bowl and mix together.
Put this with rest of batter by making swirl on top with knife.
Pour into 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours and 5 minutes.
