German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. medium potatoes, about 10
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. sour cream
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, covered in salted water until fork tender, about 40 minutes. Peel warm potatoes and slice. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook bacon; remove all fat except 1/4 cup. Stir flour into fat in skillet. Add sugar, butter, salt, pepper, vinegar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring. Remove from heat; add sour cream. Add potatoes, onion and half of bacon; toss gently. Sprinkle with rest of bacon and parsley. Good served warm or cold.
