Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafers
    3 sticks oleo
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 large (No. 3) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 to 4 large bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix vanilla wafers with 1 stick oleo and pat in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Mix the powdered sugar, 2 sticks oleo and eggs together with mixer; beat on high speed for 15 minutes.
    Spread this mixture on top of vanilla wafers, then put drained pineapple on top of egg mixture.
    Slice bananas and arrange on top of pineapple.
    Spread Cool Whip on top of bananas.
    Sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Cover and chill overnight.
