Moist Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. quick rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, water, raisins, shortening, spices, salt and nuts.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Set aside to get quite cool.
Add eggs, vanilla, flour, oats and soda to the cooled mixture.
Drop by spoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheet or ungreased nonstick sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until browned.
