Apple Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced apples (unpeeled)
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. water
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. vinegar
pinch of salt
Preparation

Combine apples, celery and nutmeats in a serving bowl.
In a saucepan, stir together sugar, flour, egg and 2 tablespoons water. Add 1 cup water and butter.
Bring to boil; cook until thickened. Stirring, add vinegar and salt.
Let cool.
Pour over mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
