Out Of This World Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple, including juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. chopped pecans
2 baked pie shells

Preparation

Combine cherry pie filling, sugar, cornstarch, crushed pineapple and juice and red food coloring.
Cook until thick. Remove from heat and add the dry jello.
Stir well and allow to cool.
Add sliced bananas and nuts (if desired).
Pour into pie shells.
Top with Cool Whip.
