Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream together butter and Crisco.
Add sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Add dry ingredients and add milk a little at the time. Beat and then add vanilla and lemon juice.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Start in a cold oven.
