Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 lb.) bag hash browns, thawed
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) carton commercial sour cream
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. melted butter, divided
1 tsp. salt and pepper
2 c. crushed potato chips
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
Add 1/4 cup butter, salt and pepper and mix together.
Pour into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spreading smoothly over casserole.
Mix 1/4 cup of butter (melted) with potato chips. Spread on top of casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
