Mississippi Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. boiling water
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter
    6 egg yolks
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    6 oz. chocolate (Baker's semi-sweet)
    3 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in boiling water.
    Cream sugar and butter. Beat egg yolks into mixture one at a time.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Add to cream mixture alternately with buttermilk and chocolate, ending with chocolate.
    Add vanilla; do not overbeat. Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool and frost with Chocolate Frosting.
