Prune Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg
    1 c. chopped pitted prunes
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix together flour, sugar, spices, nuts and prunes and set aside.
    In a second bowl, mix oil, eggs and vanilla.
    Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk.
    Pour all liquid ingredients over dry ingredients and mix just enough to blend together.
    Spoon into 18 greased 2 3/4-inch muffin tins.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes until brown and springy to touch.
