Master Baking Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 c. flour
6 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. vegetable shortening
2 c. dry milk powder
Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar and sugar 3 times.
Cut in the shortening until the mixture is the consistency of cornmeal.
Stir in the dry milk powder.
Store in covered container at room temperature.
To measure baking mix, pile lightly into a cup and level off with spatula.
