Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1-1/2 cups shredded Longhorn cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 cups half & half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Butter one side of bread and layer on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
    Cook sausage until
    brown; drain well.
    Spoon over bread slices.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    In a separate bowl, mix eggs, half & half and salt.
    Pour over bread and sausage.
    Cover casserole and chill overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator for 15 minutes before baking.
    Bake casserole, uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
