Chocolate Whole Wheat Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 oz. chocolate
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate
and
allow
to cool.
Mix flour, baking powder and
salt;
set
aside.
Cream
butter
and sugar until fluffy. Beat
in
chocolate, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour mixture and 1/2
cup nuts.
Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with
remaining
nuts.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan and pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack.
Cut in 2-inch squares.
