Hearty Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fresh spinach, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
    4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    small head lettuce
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    10 oz. frozen peas, thawed (uncooked)
    1 sweet red onion, thinly sliced
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
Preparation
    Layer 12 ingredients in order given.
    Cover and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.
    Toss and serve.
    Makes 4 to 6 main servings or 10 to 12 salad servings.
