Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak (1/4 to 1/2-inch thick)
    2/3 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) can (2/3 c.) broiled, sliced mushrooms
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    2 Tbsp. enriched flour
    buttered noodles
Preparation
    Trim fat.
    Heat 3 tablespoons oil in skillet.
    Brown meat quickly.
    Add water and mushrooms (liquid, too).
    Stir in soup mix; cook until meat is tender.
    Blend flour into sour cream and add to meat mixture.
    Stir until sauce thickens, but not to boiling.
    Serve over buttered noodles.
