Sweet Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 and grease 8-inch pan.
    Melt shortening and set aside.
    Mix dry ingredients and add milk, egg and shortening.
    Mix well until mixture is thin.
    If not, add enough milk to make that way.
    Place in greased pan and bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    It should be very tall.
