Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) box vanilla instant pudding
    1 (3 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook cake mix as directed on box.
    Remove from oven.
    While hot, punch small holes in top of cake with fork.
    Place pineapple with juice and sugar in small saucepan.
    Bring to boil.
    Pour this mixture over cake; mix vanilla instant pudding as directed.
    Add Cool Whip.
    Spread on top of pineapple mixture.
