Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling mix
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine pudding mix, sugar, milk and butter in pan.
    Heat slowly, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves; then cook without stirring until a soft ball will form when dropped in a cup of cold water.
