Pineapple-Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pitted tart red cherries, drained
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    few drops red food coloring
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine drained cherries, undrained pineapple, granulated sugar, quick-cooking tapioca, lemon juice and red food coloring.
    Let stand 15 minutes; cook and stir until thickened and clear, 5 to 10 minutes.
    Cool.
