Mama'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix and sift first 4 ingredients.
    Blend Crisco, sugar and eggs.
    Add molasses and blend well.
    Add next 2 ingredients and slowly add dry ingredients, stirring well to blend.
    Pour into greased pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Nuts may be added if desired.
    Makes 2 loaf pans or 1 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) cake pan.
