Barley Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. barley
    1 medium onion
    1 c. almonds
    1 pkg. onion soup
    1 can mushroom pieces and juice
    1 can water chestnuts (drained)
    2 cans chicken broth
Preparation
    Brown onions and barley in margarine.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Stir well.
    Put in casserole, cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
