Velvet Almond Fudge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. slivered almonds
1 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O chocolate fudge pie filling
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. chocolate chips, melted
1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Chop almonds and toast at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes.
Set aside. Blend
together
until
smooth,
pie filling mix, corn syrup, milk,
egg\tand
chips.
Add
almonds and pour into pie shell. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 45 minutes or until top is firm and begins to crack.
Cool at least 4 hours.
Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
