Ritz Cracker Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    50 Ritz crackers
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    maraschino cherry halves
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Break up crackers with hands or food processor and add to egg white mixture.
    Add nuts; mix and pour into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let cool thoroughly.
