Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat
3/4 c. uncooked instant oatmeal
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1/4 c. plus 1 c. skim milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 beef bouillon cube
1/4 c. flour
water
Preparation

Combine meat, oats, onions, allspice, egg, 1/4 cup milk and pepper thoroughly.
Shape to form meat balls.
Cook over medium heat in frying pan sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray.
Turn frequently until browned on all sides.
Dissolve beef bouillon cube in 1 cup boiling water.
Pour over cooked meat; simmer, covered, 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove meat from pan.
Mix together the flour and 1 cup of milk.
Add to liquid in pan; mix and cook until thick.
Add meat balls.
Heat if necessary.
