Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 small onion, diced
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small can tomato paste
    2 large cans stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt (to taste)
    1/2 tsp. diced garlic
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. parsley
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown onion in oil.
    Add hamburger and brown.
    Add tomato paste and cook 2 minutes or so, stirring.
    Put canned tomatoes in blender for an instant to chop.
    Add seasonings and simmer for 2 hours.
    Remove bay leaf.
