Bread Pudding With Currants And Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dried currants
    2 Tbsp. brandy
    6 c. 1-inch cubes French bread
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 tsp. ground cardamon
Preparation
    Mix and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Pour maple syrup over.
