Peach Heaven - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh peaches
    1 1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over peaches and peel immediately.
    Slice into a large Pyrex dish, filling only half way.
    Whip the cream until thick and blend in vanilla.
    Cover peaches with
    the whipped cream.
    Place dish in the freezer for 2 hours.
    Just before serving, remove from the freezer; spread brown sugar over the top and broil on the highest oven rack until cream begins to come through the brown sugar layer.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 6 to 8.
