Perfect Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c.sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/4 c. hot water
1 c. raw peanuts
1/8 tsp. salt
1 level tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a heavy kettle and boil until slightly brown.
Remove from fire, add the soda.
Stir well.
Pour on lightly greased cookie sheet and spread thin.
When cool, break into pieces.
Store in plastic or metal containers.
