Festive Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions, sliced
    2 to 3 eggs (I use 3)
    salt and pepper
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. whipping cream or half and half
    2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until transparent.
    Put into a baking dish.
    Beat eggs until they are light.
    Mix in cream and a dash of salt and pepper.
    Pour this mixture over onions.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes in a 425\u00b0 oven.
