Maxey'S Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. Karo
    1/2 cup of half and half
    Pinch of salt
    4 large or 40 small marshmallows
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups pecans
Preparation
    Place the above in medium saucepan, stirring often and heat to soft ball stage, 234 to 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add 4 large marshmallows, cut in small pieces or 40 small marshmallows, 3 Tbsp. butter (not margarine), 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 2 cups pecans and stir until marshmallows are melted.
    Drop on buttered wax paper. Leave until set and very cool.
    Place in covered tin with wax paper between layers. Enjoy!
    You must have a candy thermometer.
