Fat-Free Foam Rubber Birthday Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 x 6-inch diameter) thick piece foam rubber
2 (16 oz.) cans cheap buttercream frosting or spackling paste
candles, decorations as you see fit

Preparation

Cut out the piece of foam rubber from an old foam mattress or buy one from an upholstery store.
Cover all sides (including bottom) with a thick layer of frosting, with a 1/2-inch thick layer on top.
Refrigerate before inserting candles, so frosting stiffens up enough to support the candles.
Serve to birthday honoree at a party and insist the honoree cuts the cake.
Be sure to have camera ready to catch honoree's expression when the cake refuses to be cut.
If honoree is a friend or employer, be sure to have a real cake as a back-up!
