My Sister Shirley'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, chop, fry & drain
    1 1/2 lb. salted ground beef - fry & drain
    1 or 2 chopped green peppers
    1 large chopped onion with 1 clove garlic - finely chop, saute & drain
    2 large cans pork & beans (1 lb-13 oz each/29 oz each)
    1 1/2 small bottles of Open Pit bbq sauce
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup molasses
Preparation
    Place all of above in oven-proof casserole dish.
    Cover & bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Uncover and bake for another hour.
