Fruit Cocktail Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail, drained
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg and sugar.
    Add flour, soda and salt.
    Mix.
    Add the drained fruit cocktail.
    Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cover with nuts and brown sugar before baking.
