Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 small apples, cored, peeled and cut up
    1/3 c. water or apple juice
    1/2 c. raisins, soaked in hot water and drained
    1 tsp. cinnamon (if desired)
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook apples in water or juice until tender, about 30 minutes. Cool slightly and mash with fork.
    Add raisins, cinnamon and sugar.
    Makes about 4 cups.
    Can be stored in freezer.
