Cashew Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw, boneless chicken, cut in bite size pieces
    1 Tbsp. each soy sauce, cornstarch and sherry
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. grated ginger root
    salad oil (for cooking)
    3/4 c. cashew nuts
    1/2 c. sliced bamboo shoots
    8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 stalk celery, cut diagonally in slices 1/8-inch thick
    salt
    15 edible pea pods, ends and strings removed
    3/4 c. water, mixed with 1 Tbsp. soy sauce, 1 Tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Marinate chicken 15 minutes in soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, salt, garlic and ginger.
