Sharon'S Cashew Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    3 c. cubed chicken
    1/2 c. cubed process American cheese
    1 small onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 1/3 c. milk
    1 14 oz. can chicken broth
    1/4 c. margarine (melted)
    2/3 c. saltines
    3/4 c. cashew halves
Preparation
    In a greased 9x13 baking dish layer macaroni, chicken, cheese, onion, celery, pepper and water chestnuts.
    In a bowl combine soups, milk and broth.
    Pour over chicken mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Toss butter and cracker crumbs and sprinkle over casserole.
    Top with cashews.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 35-40 minutes, till tender.
    Makes six servings.
