Vanilla Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs (extra large, yolk only)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar and cornstarch and bring to a boil while stirring. After mixture boils, reduce heat and remove 2 to 3 tablespoons of mixture and let cool. After cooling, add the 2 to 3 tablespoons to the egg yolks and beat into a paste. Add vanilla flavoring and stir this into the milk, sugar and cornstarch mixture. Cook until thickened to taste. For banana pudding, pour this mixture over layers of bananas and vanilla wafers.
