Ann'S Sawdust Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen, grated coconut
    1 c. graham cracker crumbs
    4 egg whites, unbeaten
    1 egg yolk
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Partially bake the pie shell for 5 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Remove shell from oven, but leave the oven on while you mix filling.
