Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 cloves minced garlic
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
    1 (1 lb.) carton cottage cheese
    3/4 lb. (or more) Mozzarella
    2 Tbsp. (or more) Parmesan
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Brown garlic and meat in hot olive oil in skillet.
    Stir in onion soup mix, water, tomato paste and sauce, salt, pepper, sugar and oregano.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes (or more).
    Cook lasagne noodles according to package directions.
    Drain and place in cold water.
    Remove from cold water as needed.
    Place a small amount of meat mixture in bottom of 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Arrange single layer of lasagne noodles, placed lengthwise, then layer Mozzarella, cottage cheese, meat sauce and Parmesan in pan. Repeat, ending in meat sauce.
    Sprinkle top with Parmesan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or longer.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
