Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small onions
    12 red peppers
    12 green peppers
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 pt. water
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop onions and peppers
    fine
    and
    cover
    with boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Mix vinegar, salt, 1 pint water and sugar.
    Mix
    and bring to a boil.
    Boil for 5 minutes, then add the
    chopped
    vegetables and boil 5 to 10 minutes.
    Pack in jars and seal while hot.
