Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. Vidalia onions, sliced
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. herb stuffing mix (Pepperidge Farm)
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter until they are transparent.
    Combine with other ingredients.
    Put into a casserole dish and top with butter and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
