Sour Cream Almond Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter flavor Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 1/2 Tbsp. almond flavoring
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add sour cream and mix well.
Add dry ingredients which have been mixed together.
Mix until real creamy.
Add flavoring.
Mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing.
Frost with cream cheese frosting, if desired.
