Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. vanilla wafers, crushed (about 8 oz.)
    1 c. sifted powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. bourbon
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients.
    Mix in pecans, syrup and liquor. Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Let stand 1 hour, uncovered.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Press pecan half in top of each ball.
    Store in airtight container.
