Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
2/3 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. cayenne pepper (to taste)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. finely chopped bell pepper
1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Beat eggs until light.
Add remaining ingredients in order, blending until smooth.
Pour into hot well-greased skillet or pan. Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
Will serve 8.
